Weekly Tuesday Evening 1-Hour Online Yoga Class

60-minute mat class with Heather and other teachers

This live-streamed class explores gentle movement, breath, and mindfulness to to support sleep, healthful rest, and enhanced resilience.  Minimal prop use is required to allow participants to do this practice at home, sharing it with roommates, partners, children, and pets as desired. This class is co-sponsored with Windhover.

Weekly Wednesday Morning 1-Hour Online Yoga Class

60-minute mat class with Chris

This live-streamed class explores gentle yogic flow practices that enhance resilience and equanimity.  As a morning practice it supports both relaxation and invigoration to help all of us get ready fort he day.  Each practice includes guided meditation, breathing practices, and movement.  Minimal prop use is necessary, though two yoga blocks (or items that can serve this purpose), a pillow, and a blanket will be helpful.  We hope you will enjoy this practice at home, sharing it with roommates, partners, children, and pets as desired.

Weekly Thursday Noon 1-Hour Online Yoga Class

Weekly Friday Happy Hour 1-Hour Online Yoga Class

60-minute mat class with Lauren

The motto for this live-streamed class is "no props, no problem!" We all have to find new ways to connect to one another and reengage in yoga. This gentle flow yoga class explores new ways to help you unwind using items available in your own home, no props required. Each practice includes guided meditation, breathing practices, and movement offering a range of modifications to meet everyone where they are in their practice. Let's find a way to celebrate that we have survived another week and do our best to let go of some of cumulative stress. Join Lauren in YogaX's ever-growing online community of yogis practicing separately, yet together.

Working with Obstacles

This uplifting YouTube class explores coping with obstacles related to disease and injury.  It offers a gentle movement practice that will relieve back strain and worry, lightening your mood while increasing awareness. It co-stars Momo, a sweet and gentle cat to add to your enjoyment.

Equanimity as the Foundation of Resilience

60-minute recorded mat-based movement class with Chris 

This YouTube movement practice explores the concept of equanimity as the foundation of resilience and coping ability.  It uses the four-part breath as a way of exploring the gap between stimulus and response, inviting calm, quietude,and reason to moderate the effects of incoming stimuli from inside and outside the body.  The movement practice is a gentle and therapeutic flow that cultivates mindfulness, awareness, and attention.

Being with What Is Essential

This YouTube movement practice is a restorative yoga session that explores how to be present for what is essential in each moment.  It requires props to help you access restorative postures that are most comfortable if your body is supported by pillows, blankets, and bolsters.

Calming Yoga to Support Sleep

This gentle yoga class explores the yoga sutra that discusses the yoga of relationships (Sutra 1.33) and practicing patience. Props needed are a pillow, yoga block (or item serving that purpose), and a strap (or similar item).
